embrace imperfection
My art explores the embrace of imperfection.
I create with a playful, experimental approach in my work. My primary medium is mixed media visual art, such as flower walls on canvas, while also using illustration, writing, movement, and crafting to express my themes. I’m currently using lots of flowers, textiles, and natural materials in my artwork to bring whimsical themes and visual enjoyment to spaces.
While I’ve been creating with various mediums since childhood, I took several years away from my primary mediums- painting and illustration, before returning again in the past few years. I now create with the view of creativity being a gift from God that I get to share with others in purpose and joy.
I enjoy speaking to authenticity in my work: authentic landscapes, stories, and people.

I’ll be attending the Garden Church School of Ministry this year! From September, 2025-April, 2026 I will be joining a small cohort of those growing in God’s grace under Garden Church’s teaching and supervision.
I’m looking forward to learning more about the one who gave me my creative gift and how He wants me to use it to add beauty to the world.
My artwork can now be found on Gallery of Grace! An online Christian art gallery ran by Colette Reine to share God’s love through His artists.
Various printing possibilities of original Christian art is available through the website- from canvas prints, to tapestries, to paper prints. You can find my work under my artist profile on the website.

My work was recently on display at the Fall ’25 Artist Salon as part of the creative ministry at Garden Church in Huntington Beach, CA.
